Anastasia Zhmak is an experienced data analyst of Risk Institute. Anastasia is responsible for Statistical Reporting and Data Services practice areas. Due to her high analytical proficiency, she is also engaged in predictive modeling projects includingrating factor analysis and insurance indicators forecasting.  

She has over 8 years of experience in consulting and business development, outsourcing, life and non-life insurance. She held the position of chief actuary in Allianz Life Ukraine, AXA Life Ukraine and Allianz Ukraine.

Her qualifications include:

• Developing and implementing databases.
• Interpreting data.
• Analyzing results using statistical techniques.
• Insurance reserving, pricing and product management.
• Financial planning and controlling.

Ms. Zhmak has participated in calculation regarding the compulsory Third Party Liability rates in 2016. These rates maintain a balance between insurance companies and more than 6 million policyholders annually.

She is a member at Council of NFP, a Ukrainian financial regulator, where she was engaged in actuarial guideline for reserving and stress-testing.

Ms. Zhmak holds a Master’s degree in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She has four publications on Statistics topics in scientific journals.
